LUCKY BEAR by Ivy Smith set to release

Feb. 28, 2023 -
     LUCKY BEAR, a charming story about a bear cub that habituates to people and the outcome.
     LUCKY BEAR, written and illustrated by Ivy Smith is set to debut at the Shasta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation's annual Baby Shower. The public event is scheduled for April 8, 2023 at the SWRR location on Rupert Rd., Anderson, CA.


Livingston Art Challenge Results

Feb. 11, 2023 -
     Each year in a friendly competition, Tim and Mary Livingston each donate a framed original watercolor painting to Sierra-Cascade Environmental and Resource Fund. The paintings are a feature of the Education Auction held on Friday night of the Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference.


     This year, the paintings sold for $8,000 each to support the educational charity. They now hang in a private collection.

     Mary A Livingston is illustrator of Red Tail Publishing’s GRANNY LOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS, NO PLACE FOR UGLY BIRDS, and OH, NO! BABY-O. She is also award winning illustrator of ABTA Publications & Products' PERCY LEARNS TO FLY.

Education Day Students Learn about Hydrophobic Soils
